Leading industry magazine, Financial Times Adviser, scored SJ Financial Solutions top of the list in a mystery shopper exercise of financial advisers in Birmingham.
The journal, part of the FT group, gave the company an overall score of 32/35, ahead of three other companies, awarding it the Shopper’s Choice.
The mystery shopper said “The adviser appeared to have good knowledge of stamp duty rates and regulation. She also offered to follow up on her query with a lawyer”.
SJ Financial Solutions were commended for the advice given and professional response to the mystery shopper after they were approached with a specific enquiry about owning a property abroad. It concluded that ‘the adviser was very helpful and willing to take steps to clarify what she wasn’t sure about”.
Each week, the mystery shopper seeks advice from independent and tied advisors in the UK. The aim is to find out whether advisers are delivering the goods when it comes to the all-important initial telephone contact between the client and the adviser.
Stuart Mosley, Director of SJ Financial Solution said: “I am very proud that SJ Financial Solution came out top in Financial Adviser’s recent mystery shopper exercise in Birmingham.”
“For a small organisation, to be recommended by the industry is very important to us. Our rating is a testament to the experienced team here at SJ and their commitment to providing a high quality, professional service at all times”.
